Notes for the Art Enrichment Coordinator

Periodically check the art bins/restock supplies. Art bins are located:

The art bins with project supplies are located near door 16. Just go in the main entrance/sign in and walk all the way over to the far north end of the school. Walk down a couple steps and right near door 16 there is a little cubby/nook in the wall/on the floor where are the supplies are stored.

Sample initial email to volunteers:

Thank you so much for helping out with Art Enrichment!

The first step is for one of you to reach out to your teacher to set up a day and time that works best for your art enrichment lesson.

You have signed up to teach the following lesson: [Lines]

The teachers are familiar with the art enrichment program, so they will know that volunteers will be contacting them to set up a day/time to do the project. The lesson will take place in your child's homeroom classroom.

An overview of art enrichment, detailed lesson plans, and a video of a sample session can be found on the Barnsdale website:

The bins are periodically monitored, but it would also be very helpful if everyone could pitch in and check on supplies before your lesson and also after your lesson wraps up -- please let me know asap if anything is missing.

After reviewing all the above info, your volunteer team can work together to prepare your chosen lesson and present it on the agreed upon date / time.

Once you have a date / time set with your teacher, please let me know so that I can keep an up-to-date record (and also make sure no one overlaps).

Many thanks again for your helpful assistance! Please let me if you have know any questions.
